The RootsTech 2024 App
Get ready to immerse yourself in the world of genealogy with the RootsTech app. Available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, the app allows you to access all the conference has to offer right at your fingertips. Perfect for attending in-person or virtually, the app provides a seamless experience for navigating sessions, connecting with fellow attendees, and exploring exhibitor booths.
The RootsTech 2024 On-Demand Library
Explore the world of genealogy with the RootsTech on-demand library. Featuring videos from previous years and all of the sessions from RootsTech 2024, the library offers a diverse selection of topics to explore. You can explore over 1,500 sessions on 185 topics in over 30 languages.
Accessing the On-Demand Library
Not sure how to access the on-demand library? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Visit rootstech.org and click on “Watch Videos” in the top right corner. From there, a drop down menu will appear. Click on “Browse the Library”.

With a plethora of topics to choose from, it can be hard to know where to start. Thankfully, the RootsTech catalog highlights the top themes, including DNA research, beginner’s guides, and the latest innovations from conference sponsors.

Creating Playlists for RootsTech 2024
Once you’ve found a few sessions that you’re interested in, you can create personalized playlists and tailor your RootsTech experience to suit your interests. By curating your own lineup of sessions and workshops, you can ensure that you make the most of your time at the conference.
To build your playlists, simply select the plus button either in the bottom right corner of the session from the library homepage, or from the session description page you can select “+ Playlists” to add to your playlists. We will see a default “Watch Later” playlist has already been added.
This year, you can create multiple playlists based on the different topics you’re interested in. Start building your playlists now and get ready for an unforgettable journey through the world of genealogy.
